In person training open to any person who has completed Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) training, even if you are not currently active on a CERT team.
Highly recommended for dispatch and evacuation volunteers, but encouraged for all volunteers to attend as radios will be widely used in various roles within Napa CART. Collaborative training with Napa CERT. RSVP through BetterImpact or by emailing info@napacart.org.
This class is to prepare and certify volunteers to haul animals in trailers during emergencies, as well as for all related animal transportation activities. RSVP through BetterImpact or by emailing info@napacart.org.
Livestock Shelter set up, review of animal intake procedures and biosecurity protocols. Work gloves recommended for panel set up. RSVP through BetterImpact or by emailing info@napacart.org.
Companion Animal Shelter skills. Review of Intake, Biosecurity, and General Disaster Shelter Operations. There will be two shifts, roughly 12:30pm-2:00pm and 2:30pm to 4:00pm, with a limited amount of people per shift. RSVP through BetterImpact of by emailing info@napacart.org.
