Equine & Ruminant Shelter Intake and Shelter Fitness Assessment
Napa CART volunteers will receive updated training on the shelter intake process and care protocols. Volunteers who intend to work hands-on in the shelter will have the opportunity to satisfy the shelter fitness requirements to lift 50lbs of weight. In addition, attendees will receive key updates to Napa CART participation and training requirements. Lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: If you are new to Napa CART or have never attended a New Volunteer Training, please also sign up for and attend the New Volunteer Orientation & Awareness on 3/27/26 before attending the returning volunteer programs on Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements: recommended for ACS Field and ACS Shelter volunteers.
