Would you know what to do if we had a major earthquake right now? Would you know how to provide first aid to a loved one, rescue someone, or get drinking
water? Are you ready to have your life disrupted without help for 24 to 72 hours?
As recent disasters and emergencies have demonstrated, there will not be enough emergency responders to help everyone promptly. You must be able to take care of yourself and your family. As a community, we must rely on each other for our immediate lifesaving and life-sustaining needs. Napa Valley communities may not have enough emergency help for several days!
Community Emergency Response Training is a nationally recognized emergency training course that teaches essential emergency response skills. Taking and completing the CERT course will give you the skills and confidence necessary to help yourself, your family, and your community during a disaster.
Class 105 will be offered in American Canyon. The training is available free of charge to anyone living in Napa County. To complete the course, you must
attend all three sessions.
