Do you want to help your community in times of need? Now would be a great time to help ensure you, your family (both two and four legged) are better prepared in case of a local disaster or emergency in the coming year! And what better way to do that than by joining Napa CART?

This class will provide an overview of the Napa Community Animal Response Team and the various volunteer roles and training tracks available to those who wish to serve the animal component of disaster response in Napa County. CART volunteers can assist the companion animal or equine and livestock component of response, or serve in non-animal contact roles.

This training is a Zoom in which each of the Napa CART leaders will review options for new volunteers and will cover the training requirements to be sworn in as Disaster Service Workers for Napa CART. The training will be recorded and available for later viewing if new volunteers are unable to attend on 3/27.
