This class is required for Napa CART volunteers assisting with the sheltering and shelter in place of small animals (house pets) and is highly recommended for all volunteers.

This class is to prepare and certify volunteers to haul animals in trailers during emergencies, as well as for all related animal transportation activities. Required for Trailer drivers, recommended for pilot car and general transportation drivers.

Procedures for setting up and operating emergency shelter for large animals: Bio-security, Forms, Nutrition, Intake and Discharge, Animal Identification, and more. Required for Large Animal Shelter and Shelter-In-Place volunteers, but recommended for all volunteers. RSVP to info@napacart.org

We need help going through our cargo trailers to inventory and label all contents. We also need help organizing and collating forms, making signage and more. Get yourself familiarized with our trailers and the contents. For those that are interested, Allen Harrison will also provide a proper chainsaw handling demonstration. RSVP to info@napacart.org

This 2-hour class covers basic safety and situational awareness in Wild land and Suburban fire, flood, earthquake and other disasters. Other topics include natural/propane gas, power line and hazardous material safety.
