A Public Safety Specialist from PG&E will be discussing how to identify important components of natural gas and electric utility infrastructure and recognizing emergency conditions, public safety power shut off in extreme weather conditions and more!

CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) is taught through Napa County Office of Emergency Services and is required of all active volunteers. This February 16 class is the annual refresher for people who have already completed the program.
This class is required for Napa CART volunteers assisting with the sheltering and shelter in place of small animals (house pets) and is highly recommended for all volunteers.

This class is to prepare and certify volunteers to haul animals in trailers during emergencies, as well as for all related animal transportation activities. Required for Trailer drivers, recommended for pilot car and general transportation drivers.
Procedures for setting up and operating emergency shelter for large animals: Bio-security, Forms, Nutrition, Intake and Discharge, Animal Identification, and more. Required for Large Animal Shelter and Shelter-In-Place volunteers, but recommended for all volunteers. RSVP to info@napacart.org
