Communication with CERT

A general overview of how radio communications work and the importance of clear speak and information relay during an incident. Radios will be available for some technical training and practice. Highly recommended for dispatch and evacuation volunteers, but encouraged for all volunteers to attend as radios will be widely used in various roles within Napa CART. Collaborative training with Napa CERT
Practice exercise focused on Hotline, Communications and Dispatch. Joint training with CERT volunteers. Seasoned Animal Search & Rescue (ASAR) volunteers will also have the opportunity to practice field staging and working with radios.
