Do you know how to extinguish a fire before it becomes large? Do you know how to safely remove a victim trapped under debris? Do you know the basic first aid techniques that can save a life? These questions are answered in a course now being offered to the residents & workers of Napa County with the cooperation of the County of Napa & the Cities of Napa\, American Canyon\, Calistoga and the Napa Valley College. It consists of five classes in a two-week period covering a series of topics in a 20-hour format that are taught in a “hands on” environment. All registrants must be at least 16 years of age & those 18 and under must register & attend all classes with a parent/guardian. Attendance at all classes is required for continuation in the C.E.R.T. program. This course will begin November 6th in the City of American Canyon. Do you know the basic first aid techniques that can save a life? These questions are answered in a course now being offered to the residents & workers of Napa County with the cooperation of the County of Napa & the Cities of Napa\, American Canyon\, Calistoga and the Napa Valley College. It consists of three classes in a two-week period covering a series of topics in a 20-hour format that are taught in a “hands on” environment. All registrants must be at least 16 years of age & those 18 and under must register & attend all classes with a parent/guardian. Attendance at all classes is required for continuation in the C.E.R.T. program. This course will begin June 2nd in the City of Napa.
