Better Impact and reciprocity training updates will be shared as well as the annual safety training necessary for all CART members. \n9:30a-12:30p Equine Shelter: Returning Napa CART volunteers will receive updated resources\, techniques and protocols including those covering newly developed equine care information. Equine shelter staging/operations\, husbandry\, basic handling and first aid will be covered. In addition\, attendees will receive key updates to Napa CART participation and training requirements.\n@ NVHA \n1:30p-3:00p Livestock Shelter: Returning Napa CART volunteers will receive updated resources\, techniques and protocols including those covering newly developed care information for livestock species. Livestock shelter staging/operations\, husbandry\, basic handling and first aid will be covered. In addition\, attendees will receive key updates to Napa CART participation and training requirements. @ Expo \n3:30p-5:30p Comp Anim Shelter: Napa County Animal Shelter and Napa CART personnel will train volunteers on companion animal care protocols\, biosecurity\, crate setup\, forms\, and shelter\nstaging and orientation. DESCRIPTION:8:00a Check In \n8:20-12:30p Command Center Overview & Technology: Learn all about how the Napa CART Command Center operates. This training includes an overview of all the Command Center roles and associated responsibilities\, so you can decide which roles may be a good fit for you.  \nThe main focus of this training is in-depth look at how Napa CART uses Shelterly and SARTopo to support hotline operations\, intake of animals at the shelter\, and dispatch/debrief of ASAR teams. Hands-on practice time will allow you to complete some tasks in Shelterly and SARTopo \n1:00-3:00p Radio Comms: Volunteers will learn about the different types of radios used in CART operations\, as well as protocols and best practices for radio communications. You’ll learn\nhow to handle common radio problems\, and you’ll practice talking over the radio.
