DESCRIPTION:8:00a Check in \n8:30a-9:30a Returning Volunteers Updates: Napa CART Returning Volunteers will receive an annual recap including info from Napa CART\, CVET and Cal CARTs. In addition\, volunteers will be updated with the new training calendar\, training requirements and training formats. Better Impact and reciprocity training updates will be shared as well as the annual safety training necessary for all CART members. \n9:30a-12:30p Equine Shelter: Returning Napa CART volunteers will receive updated resources\, techniques and protocols including those covering newly developed equine care information. Equine shelter staging/operations\, husbandry\, basic handling and first aid will be covered. In addition\, attendees will receive key updates to Napa CART participation and training requirements.\n@ NVHA \n1:30p-3:00p Livestock Shelter: Returning Napa CART volunteers will receive updated resources\, techniques and protocols including those covering newly developed care information for livestock species. Livestock shelter staging/operations\, husbandry\, basic handling and first aid will be covered. In addition\, attendees will receive key updates to Napa CART participation and training requirements. @ Expo \n3:30p-5:30p Comp Anim Shelter: Napa County Animal Shelter and Napa CART personnel will train volunteers on companion animal care protocols\, biosecurity\, crate setup\, forms\, and shelter\nstaging and orientation.
